After posing for the $5.2 million George Condo, Natalie White is now her own muse

Large-scale Polaroids of the same haunting woman, sometimes layered with stars, or bright colors surrounds the space at Gallery 151 in New York. Almost appearing as if they stemmed from an other-worldly place, the woman in the portraits is Natalie White. The photographs have been taken with the rare to find—only three exist—large-format 20 X 24 Polaroid camera, the same camera kind used by Andy Warhol and Robert Rauschenberg. The photos of White are a part of her latest exhibition, Transmissions From Space, which opened earlier this May.

“Flying Machine” is Colm Dillane’s Debut Foray Into the World of Fine Art

Dillane is humble; “Flying Machine” is anything but low-key. Huge canvas paintings hang on the walls, while sculptures wearing KidSuper threads (Dillane’s hybrid art brand and studio) stand in the center of the space. There’s also a Beheld 3D photo booth, just for kicks.

PEOPLE: KidSuper Actualizes his Dream of Flying through Art

The exhibition titled, “Flying Machine,” focuses on Dillane’s first-ever series of large scale oil paintings. His paintings display a strong post-impressionist influence. The curator of the art exhibit, Laura O’Reilly (@wallplayground) compares his aesthetics to those of late 19th century masters, Toulouse Lautrec and James Ensor, and views in his work “an innate desire to belong within the lineage of Western art history.”

The Flower Matrix is an extensive project which incorporates multiple formats and media including VR, augmented reality, ceramics, textiles and architectural rendering software. The project proposes a new kind of liminal space which weaves and encodes physical and digital spaces and textures to produce a mixed reality architecture, an aesthetics of the fake.
